Master’s Programme Entrepreneurship and Business Design

Below is the information that we request for further evaluation in
the admissions process to Master’s Programme Entrepreneurship and
Business Design (MPBDP) , academic year 2018/2019.

Programme Track Selection
The Programme contains four different profile tracks, two within each of the main categories Venture Creation and Entrepreneurial Management
VENTURE CREATION TRACK
Venture Creation in Bioscience (BIO)
Venture Creation in Technology (TECH)
Corporate Entrepreneurship (CORP)
Intellectual Capital Management (ICM)
You are asked to select one of the main categories.
In step 3 (the interview) you will be asked to indicate which of the tracks within the main category that you prefer.
More About You
Each statement has a minimum (500) and maximum (800) words. You need to devote time and effort into preparing your statements, ensuring that you provide significant and relevant information while also being coherent and to the point.
Some friendly advice before you submit your statement:
- Make sure your text is clear and easy to understand
Proof read for any spelling and grammatical errors, or other mistakes.
In the assessment, applicants are anonymous for the reviewer so please don’t include information revealing your identity (such as name, age and gender)
1. Purpose Statement – Please describe your motivation for applying for this education as well as motivating why you are a good candidate for the programme (what specific contribution will you bring to the programme, your peers, and the environment). Include discussion of how you see yourself and significant events or experiences, in particular team experiences, which have shaped your perspective, as relevant to the education.
2. Vision Statement – Please present your future vision: how you intend to use the knowledge gained from the education and how you can make an impact (to others, to society). Include discussion of key individuals who inspire you, how you aim to emulate them, and what kind of person you want to be.
A short list of your most relevant working experiences, extracurricular activities and commissions of trust (if applicable). Maximum 5 items within each category. Include start and end period for each post.
A Video Presentation
You can submit a voluntary Youtube video presentation of yourself answering the question “Why are you a suitable candidate for this programme and the tracks of your interest?“
The video should not exceed one minute and it doesn’t have to be complicated or advanced; you can e.g. use your mobile phone to record it. The purpose of the video is to help us form an even better picture of who you are by adding a dimension to the Personal Statements. Please make sure to have a privacy setting so we who receive the link can watch the video.
