Syfte
The course will give a deeper knowledge of the concepts of how to work with graphic design and visual interfaces. It will also develop further skills to sketch three-dimensional visual product forms with computer.
Lärandemål (efter fullgjord kurs ska studenten kunna)
- achived a increased knowledge of visual perception and how to work with and use graphic presentations with symbols, text and pictures.
- be able to present effective ways of forming posters or other graphic materials and of applying graphics and symbols.
- apply the technique of sketching and learned how to better quickly and accurately show ideas in form of sketches.
- draw pictures in both black&white and colour with the use of digital boards.
- enhance and evolve drawings by the use of scanners and various techniques. Increase the understanding of product renderings.
Innehåll
Lectures and tutoring, applying of examples, workshops and experiments with products and materials.
Graphic work will be done mostly with media publishing computer programs.
Sketching works will be done mostly in PhotoShop with Wacomboards.
Organisation
The course includes lectures and course assignments that provide the opportunity to develop and deepen understanding of the topics.

Examination
Grades are given according to the scale: Failed, Passed. The grade consists of three compulsory parts: Attendance and active participation (20% of the grade), Assignments (60% of the grade), Portfolioview (20%).
