The course combines project work with seminars. The project is an independent work carried out in groups consisting of 4-6 students. After that the students will have the opportunity to choose which project they would like to work on.

During the course, there will be two methodology-oriented seminars given by guest lecturers from industry. Furthermore, the projects will be presented and discussed at a Planning seminar in the beginning of the semester and a Final seminar at the end of the course.

Organisation

The course runs over two quarters. There will be four mandatory seminars with some assignments connected to them but most of the time should be spent on the project work. Besides supervision from the company, each project is supervised by a tutor from Chalmers, either coming from the Division of Logistics and Transportation or the Division of Industrial Marketing.
