Double master's degree programmes

In cooperation with universities in Germany and China, Chalmers offers a possibility of receiving double Master's degrees. If admitted to a double degree programme, you will study your first year of the Master's programme at Chalmers and the second year at the partner university. After finishing your studies, you will receive two diplomas, one from Chalmers and one from the partner university.

An extra Master's degree gives you great advantages, especially if you are interested in working in the country of study. Employers will find it easier to evaluate your educational skills. Also, you will have the possibility to be included in a network of professionals with an educational background in another excellent university.

Are you admitted to a Master's programme that is included in a double degree agreement contact your master's programme director (who select the candidatesin the beginning of the studies and ask to be considered in the double degree programme. The first year consists of a course schedule that has been adapted to suit the profile. In the second year a project work with supervisors from both universities is included.
