In programs
TTFYA ENGINEERING PHYSICS - Fymat, Year 3 (compulsory)
TTFYA ENGINEERING PHYSICS, Year 4 (elective)
Examiner:
Professor
Grigori Rozenblioum
Eligibility:
For single subject courses within Chalmers programmes the same eligibility requirements apply, as to the programme(s) that the course is part of.
Course specific prerequisites
Real analysis, Multivariabel analysis, Fourier analysis.
Aim
Partial differential equations are powerful computational tools in science and technology with an manifold of applications. This motivates to have a separate course in partial differential equations at the Engineering physics programme.
Goal
To give an understanding of the fundamental partial differential equations.
Organisation
Lectures, exercises and computer works.
