Aim
The aim of the course is to give an insight into the construction, use and consequences of robotics.
Content
Historical perspective. Motive for robots. Industrial applications. The future of robotics. Structure of robots: Arm, wrist, end effectors, actuators, sensors, control system. Overview of robot kinematics and dynamics. Programming methods with emphasis on the latest methods in virtual simulation.
Analysies of the steps in designing, purchasing, installing a Robotic production line.
Laboratory work, starting with simulations followed by verification.on industrial robots in the laboratory
