Aim
Intronduction of the local computing environment.
Content
The purpose of the course is to give an introduction to the computersystems on Chalmers. The basics in UNIX (how to handle files, run software, print), Internet (handling mail, connecting from home, transfering files between computers) and more.
Organisation
The course is organized around lectures and practicals by the computer. There are scheduled passes by the computer with supervisors for help with the practicals.

Examination
Approved practicals. The grade for the course is approved/non-approved.
