Eligibility:
For single subject courses within Chalmers programmes the same eligibility requirements apply, as to the programme(s) that the course is part of.
Course specific prerequisites
The student should have taken Project course IT2 or, at least, have experience from a project course similar to that of a IT-programme student.
Aim
The course continues to develop the knowledge and skills acquired in earlier courses, mainly:
- Knowledge of, and training in, methodology in technical development, especially software projects.
- Experience from all the phases in development.
- Training in problem solving.
- Training in cooperation and communication
- The skill to model problems will be focus
- Practical application of the skills and knowledge gained from the earlier courses.
Content
The main part of the course is in the form of a project, there is however a theoretical part as well.
Organisation
The project part of the course aims to give the students a possibility to develop their skills in system development and modeling as they have learned in the course Object oriented system development.
