Aim

The purpose of the course is to give a selfcontained introduction to some of the basic concepts usually taught in the undergraduate courses in mathematics. The course introduces the students form engineering, physics, chemistry and other areas of science to those areas of mathematics which from a modern point of view are most important when solving practical problems in engineering and science. The course is also a preparation for the following courses in the masters programme.

Content

Ordinary differential equations, linear algebra, vector analysis, fourier analysis and partial differential equations.
