Aim
The aim of the course is to teach programming in C. Some focus lies on interaction with the underlying system.
Content
The syntax of C, strings, files, formatted input/output, pointers, fields, memory allocation, signals, system and library functions, processes and process communication, program development tools like make and purify, portability.
