Aim

To describe and explain environmental problems and phenomena.

Content

The course starts with a brief survey of national andglobal environmental problems and environmental goals. Then there is a focus on six themes, which are:
- atmospheric stability and local climate - dispersion of ai rpollution on a local and regional scale - environmental effects of traffic and energy conversions - ecotoxicology with emphasis on ozone effects - ionising radiation - some problem of current interest.
