EME040 Microwave Circuits.

Aim

The project aims at developing a microwave system from idea to functioning prototype. Contents include systems engineering, project management, theory, practical work, system validation, and measurements.

Content

Systems engineering and project management applied within the area of microwave technique are parts of a project run in an "industrial" environment. All phases from first draft to systems validation and documentation is included. Earlier projects include microwave data links and an FMCW radar.

Organisation

A project is divided into subprojects each with 2-4 students and a dedicated supervisor. Project work is mixed up with lectures, seminars, and oral presentations.

Assessment is based on system performance demands, oral presentations, and project documentation.
