Course specific prerequisites

The student is expected to have passed the basic course on electric power engineering (Elteknik) plus a power engineering course appropriate for the chosen project or to possess equivalent knowledge.

Aim

The course intends to train creativity and cooperation in treating a practical problem in the field of electric power engineering. The students will also learn how to report the result of the project work.

Content

The course gives a possibility to treat a practical problem in the field of electric power engineering.
The result of the project work will be reported in a seminar at the department.

Organisation

The students will work in project groups solving a special problem by applying knowledge from earlier courses and by seeking new information. The groups can get help from tutors at the department. Cooperation with people from industry is also possible.

Literature

The course literature will be decided by the tutor of the project.

Examination

Written report and oral presentation.
Grading: Pass/Fail

To be appoved in the course high attendance in the work and a satisfactory presentation of the result are required.
