Content
Analytic functions of a complex variable, harmonic functions. The elementary functions and their mapping properties. Integration in the complex plane, Cauchy's integral theorem and integral formula. Taylor and Laurent series. Different kinds of singularities. Residue calculus. Analytic continuation. The maximum principle. Conformal mappings and potential problems. The argument principle and Rouché's theorem. Laplace and Fourier transforms. Applications to filters, causality, stability. Hilbert transforms.
