Course specific prerequisites
EEM020 High Frequency Electromagnetic Phenomena is needed for certain projects. Consult the supervisor.
Aim
To do work in a small research-oriented project.
Content
The project should be run within the frames of microelectronics (semiconductor physics, photonics, microwave techniques etc.). It may include entities of theory, simulation, design, measurements, processing, practical work etc.
Organisation
The form of a project should be similar to a master thesis work. Proposals are given by the department s supervisors but student may propose ideas of their own. Projects should involve 2-5 students.
Examination
Assessment is done by oral presentation and written reports.
