MTS course
Eligibility:
For single subject courses within Chalmers programmes the same eligibility requirements apply, as to the programme(s) that the course is part of.
Aim
The course mainly deals with questions concerning the leaders role. The leaders role in his/her surrounding and methods to practise leadership with this understanding as a base is what the course tries to give the students.
"Chef" is a formal title which does not mean that leadership is what is practised. Leader is the one who is able to lead others and also so does. To be succesful in ones leadership you have to understand yourself in relation to others. The ones you are going to be a leader for have to be confident in you. Leadership/management therefore is not only a question about knowing what you want but even more something that has to do with psychology and relations. This is what this course is about.

The course contains three parts
- Lectures emphasizing the human and relational consequenses when conducting leadership
- Casework in team - conflict solving work
- Individual session with the course leader. Aim - deepened understanding of own personality and it s effect on communication with and relations to others.
