Eligibility:


In order to be eligible for a second cycle course the applicant needs to fulfil the general and specific entry requirements of the programme that owns the course. (If the second cycle course is owned by a first cycle programme, second cycle entry requirements apply.)
Exemption from the eligibility requirement: Applicants enrolled in a programme at Chalmers where the course is included in the study programme are exempted from fulfilling these requirements.

The courses TDA496, Interaction design methodology and TDA492, Graphical interfaces

Aim

To provide the student an opportunity to individually or in group study something of relevance in the area of interaction design outside of the regular syllabus.

Learning outcomes (after completion of the course the student should be able to)

- Independently carry out a small project in interaction design following established best practices and procedures
- Document the project work in the form of eg requirement specification, user manual and a project report.

Organisation

This may be an individual course or an applied project in an area where regular courses in interaction design are lacking. The initiative may come from the student or from any faculty member willing to supervise the project.

Examination

Written report.
