Welcome and Orientation Week at Chalmers University of Technology!

Between August 26 and September 2 there will be several events for all new students. Your first days here are important for the start of your studies and for your contacts with fellow students. We will do everything we can to make sure you get on well and feel at home.

Tuesday August 27

Welcome and Orientation Day at Chalmers! In the Student Union building at Campus Johanneberg you'll find the conference hall RunAn where CIRC and staff from Chalmers gladly will welcome you to the university and provide you with practical information. Check out the Chalmers Map app to find your way.

When & where: 8:15-12:30 in lecture hall RunAn, on the second floor in the Student union building, address: Chalmersplatsen 1.                                                                                             

Master students - students admitted to a two-year Master’s programme
When & where: 12:45-16:30 in lecture hall RunAn, on the second floor in the Student union building, address: Chalmersplatsen 1.

Tuesday August 27

Campus Tour Johanneberg. 

On Tuesday August 27 CIRC welcomes you to campus Johanneberg with a guided tour around campus. You will be shown around to different buildings and lecture halls, popular spots for coffee and lunch and you'll be taken on a tour through the Chalmers Library. We strongly recommend the Campus Tour Johanneberg as this is also the day where you get to meet your assigned Phadders and fellow groupmembers.
When & where: The tour starts at 13:30 with a mingle with your Phadder group and finish around 17:00. We'll meet in front of the Student Union Building. Tram-/busstop: Chalmers

Wednesday August 28

Campus Tour Lindholmen.

Join CIRC over the river to Campus Lindholmen, which is usually at it's most beautiful this time of year. CIRC will show you around the campus, you'll get a guided tour at the library in one of the most eye-catching buildings, and you'll get to take in one of the most relaxing places to be on a sunny day. If you are going to study at campus Lindholmen we strongly recommend that you take this tour, but also for everyone wanting to see a little more of Göteborg this tour is strongly recommended.

When & where: The tour starts at 10:00 and finish around 13:00 (please note that changes may occur). We'll meet in front of "Kuggen", the red building in the picture. Busstop: Lindholmen.

Friday 30 August is the best day to pick up your computer account and register for your courses!

Monday 2 September is the last day to do your mandatory registration, otherwise you will lose your study place. The semester starts.
