Registration for Exchange students

We are very pleased to welcome you in the autumn semester 2019. The information on this page concerns students taking part in an exchange programme: Erasmus+, World Wide, Nordtek, Unitech and Linnaeus-Palme.

Mandatory registration

Chalmers applies self-service online registration for all admitted students on every course, each semester.

First you must get your computer account.

Collect computer account at drop in on 30 August or 2 September

Your personal computer account (Chalmers ID/CID) will give you access to Wi-Fi, the services on Student Portal and the self-service online registration system. You must attend in person and bring a valid ID. You will also receive your student union card/key card (the same card). Note, it can take up to one hour after you have picked up your computer account, until you can register on your courses. Follow the instructions below to register.​

How to register

  1. Visit this webpage for Incoming Student 2019/Registration for exchange students. Click on the direct link published here in August and you will be directed to Ladok.
  2. Click “Choose university”. Choose Chalmers and click Proceed to Login and fill in your details.
  3. You must register for every course that is open for registration under Current education > (menu) "Upcoming" (Pic 1 and 2). Once the registration is done the courses will be moved to (menu) “Current” (Pic 3).

If you can't attend Welcome and Orientation Week, please contact your coordinator and the IT-support helpdesk in the main library at campus Johanneberg.
