Aim

The course technical communication is a three-year course for the chemical engineering programme aimed at preparing the bachelor of chemical engineering students for the communication intense environment they meet in industry, R&D, and in the entrepreneurship of chemical engineering as they graduate. Being a highly integrated course, technical communication also aims at providing the students an environment of content based language learning for polishing the tools required for successful learning strategies during their education and after. The goals of the course comprise establishing effective processes for writing and oral knowledge production within the field of chemical engineering; written and oral proficiency; report writing, oral presentations; argumentation; critical reflection on communication and knowledge.
