Eligibility

General entry requirements for bachelor's level studies

Aim

To learn modelling in three dimensions with the aid of the programs available.

Learning outcomes (after completion of the course the student should be able to)

Use digital BIM tools to create 3D models of buildings and provide an understanding of how to create, use and visualize information from the created geometry.

Content

The course is a basic course in BIM, a special focus on learning the software Revit and through it also reach a basic understanding of BIM.

Organisation

The course is a distance course and is mainly based on pre-recorded material. There can be some lectures online, online meetings with relevant teacher for feedback on submitted material and examination via video link. The course ends with a small individual project.

Literature

No compulsory literature but there can be some suggested literature during the course.

Examination including compulsory elements

Mandatory assignments including a final project submission.
