Increased caution on Chalmers campus to reduce the risk of spreading infection

Due to the local general advice that came from the Public Health Agency regarding the Västra Götaland region on Thursday, Chalmers has been in contact with the infection control practioners in VGR. In summary, the infection control practioners in VGR do not see that Chalmers’ way of conducting education is affected by the new advice. Chalmers will therefore continue with a hybrid model for teaching, with parts of the teaching on campus – where it is particularly important – and all other parts digitally.

If you have planned internships (VFU) or vessel-based education (FFU), it will continue as planned. However, we urge you as a student not to stay on campus longer than necessary during the coming three-week period. That is, come to campus for your scheduled teaching elements and conduct other studies from home. And remember that the most important thing is still to keep a distance from others and wash your hands often. Stay home if you have symptoms, even mild ones. Thank you for your patience!
