The seminar will focus on
a) How to choose legitimate publication channels, how to increase visibility and traceability of your research, and how to be visible in academic social networks.
b) How to publish Open Access and why you should make your research publications available
c) Reference management software, as well as the most valuable databases and scholarly tools that could be useful in your doctoral studies and even in your future career.
Staff from GTS (Generic and Transferable Skills) will be available to answer questions about their courses from 8.30-9.00. When
: 10 October 9.00 -10.30. A vegetarian breakfast will be served from 8.30.
