Ekocentrum Popular Science Talks (Miljöperspektiv)
Takes place: Once a month: September-May, Wednesdays 18.00
Target group: People interested in or working with sustainability issues
Organiser: GMV Centre for Environment and Sustainability (Chalmers & University of Gothenburg) in co-operation with Ekocentrum
Description: The ambition is to combine a researcher from Chalmers with a researcher from University of Gothenburg talking about a common theme. Hence two separate talks followed by a discussion between the researchers and the audience. If possible the talks should address the UN Sustainable Development Goals!

Materials Science Graduate Student Days

Universeum Science Center popular science talks (Snacka om forskning)
Takes place: Regularly September-May, mainly in school holidays and on Saturdays (early afternoon)
Target group: Mixture of children and adults (with emphasise on young people aged 12 and upwards)
Organiser: Universeum Science Center
Description: Popular science talks to visitors at Universeum. The talk could be combined with a creative work-shop in Teknoteket (Maker space area) or in Fälstationen/Field station (area for labs, investigations etc). The talk is on a pop-up scene in Akvariehallen next to the shark tank, but other arenas and locations in Universeum could also be appropriate.

Universum Science Center on visit to schools
Takes place: Occasionally September-May, Monday-Friday
Target group: School
Organiser: Universeum in co-operation with Chalmers & University of Gothenburg
Description: Universeum are planning to visit schools in the Gothenburg area having difficulties to travel to Uiverseum at Korsvägen. Then activities, experiments and animals are brought to the schools. In combination with this visits, researchers are wanted performing popular science talks to pupils aged 15-18 (högstadie åk 8-9 och gymnasium) or teachers at the same schools. The format is depending on activities performed by guides and teachers from Universeum.
